Les Miserables
Too bad we don’t have a few symbols to go by here. (Leh Mizerahb) :)
By Victor Hugo, this rigmarole paints a gorgeous yarn of how love, evil, justice, undoings of men, Viva la republique! and various characters become the supports for a new society (meaning both the government and their ideas). Victor Hugo – what an author. I have to say that he has a few grammatical/spelling errors, but you know, for a 600 page book, not too shabby at all. This guy jam-packs this novel with action, insight, and beautiful prose that allow you to run over each page with your eyes until you figure out that you’re pretty much done with the whole thing in a matter of hours. I have to say that my favorite character is Jean Valjean, and Marius is an okay guy too when it comes to a few things. :) It’s crazy how Jean Valjean, Father Fauchelevent, Monsieur Blanc, The Mayor, etc. changes, yet remains constant in his areas of expertise – escape and justice. And, there’s Javert, the ruthless justice-seeker who attends to all wounds in society like one who pricks them open further, even when the scab has been festering for years. On this quick tale, Javert hunts like a lion for this Jean Valjean, who served almost 20 years in the galleys for stealing a loaf of bread. So, when Jean Valjean escapes the galleys, for the last time he hopes, he meets a man who changes his life forever by giving him a second chance. Thus, the tale of Jean Valjean unfolds, meeting an ex-convict with a righteous soul. In a moment’s time, he has to make a decision that will affect the rest of his life and the lives of those around him. Even when the path seems intriguingly blithe, it may have a few bumps and charred edges for a few of its sojourners.

Hi there. It’s cold. Really. I mean cold….brrrr….in Kentucky. So, I went out and ran 2 hours this morning. It happens to get that long when I’m talking to my best friend…His Name’s Jesus…pretty cool guy…and then I went to go see AVATAR in Digital 3 D. Wow…that movie is amazing! It’s exactly like something that would come out of my head onto the screen, and I loved being a part of it all…If you haven’t seen it, I’d definitely recommend it. You’ll be wrapped up in no time with a world that’s beyond your wildest dreams, but I promise–you won’t want to go back to the real world after that. Then, ice skating. sweet. I’ve been twice, and I’ve yet to fall…I kinda want to fall though…it looks kinda fun. haha…But, I’m getting fast on those skates. :) If I do say so myself…And, it’s snowing! Yay! Okay, sorry for the random post, but I thought I’d just check in to let you all know that I’m not dead yet. :) G’bye!
